UPDATE: Important roadworks information

A12 southbound and northbound between junctions 19 (Boreham Interchange) and 25 (Marks Tey Interchange) – road surface repairs

We plan to resume road surface repairs on the A12 in both directions at different points between junctions 19 and 25. We’re returning to carry out additional urgent road surface repairs. Once complete, this will help keep the A12 safe and serviceable.

We plan to complete this work over eight nights starting from Thursday 14 May 2026. We will work overnight between 9pm and 5am on weeknights only, weather permitting.
